fleur du veil

(noun)

/flur du veɪl/

a flower hidden, waiting to be revealed.

mood

Spring evenings where lilac and tilia cling to the wind, fingers honeyed from the plucking of buds...

Rain drops beading on a freshly opened rose.

Dewy gems collecting on the edge of lady’s mantle, feet pressed into damp soil...

These are the moments which enchant me most, and exactly what I want to capture and attempt to hold - bound within glass.

This is Fleur du Veil.

About Morgan

I’ve long been transfixed by the presence of plants and their irresistible pull. Breathing them in, feeling their petals, and tasting their roots unlocks some deep sense of knowing within me.

Plants carry memory, and an uncanny ability to transport us to another place and time, thus staining us further with their essence.

About the Process

Each formula is shaped by the materials I work with and the moods they can evoke. Composition is careful and slow - restraint used often, unbearable as it may be. It is I who submits to their will, never the reverse.

Every batch is left to settle and mature over time, gently revealing each facet of its character and deepening as it unfolds.

This approach extends across my work - from herbal extracts to sip and savor, flower mists to anoint and adorn, and fragrance to conjure mood and place.
